We do not have an order pickup location.

All orders will be shipped to the location of your choice.

Shipping Methods & Policies

Purolator is our default courier.  We may offer other couriers such as USPS, depending on the delivery address of your order.

Purolator reserves the right to use a different courier (such as Canada Post) in order to fulfill deliveries to rural areas.

Purple Citrus will determine the most efficient method of delivery based on your shipping address and we reserve the right to change your courier due to high surcharges or additional costs of shipping your order.  These couriers include, but may not be limited to, Canada Post and USPS.

The discount rates supplied to us by our couriers are passed on to our customers.  The shipping costs provided to you at checkout are based on the weight and volume of the items in your order.

You may be contacted by our customer service department for an adjustment to shipping charges, as we reserve the right to adjust the shipping charges for your order.

Purple Citrus does not take responsibility for any damage, loss or delay that may occur.  If you do require additional insurance, please notify us in the order comments at the time your order is placed.  We will then invoice you separately for any additional shipping charges in relation to insurance.

Orders are shipped without requiring a direct signature on delivery.  If you require signature upon delivery, please add the ‘Signature Required’ option at checkout.

Additional Charges:

  • If Purolator is contacted by Purple Citrus or the customer to re-direct a parcel to a different address OR if the address provided by the customer is incorrect or missing information resulting in a need to update the shipping address, a $10 fee will be billed to the customer.  If this balance is not paid the charge will be added to your next order.

Alternative Shipping Methods

We do offer alternative shipping methods on request.  However, Purple Citrus takes no responsibility for these methods arranged by the customer, including but not limited to the following:

  • Using own shipping account
  • Arranging a third party to facilitate shipping
  • Using own courier

If you do choose to make your own shipping arrangements, Purple Citrus does require the customer to sign a WAIVER ensuring we are not held responsible for any shipping issues.  Furthermore, any invoices billed to Purple Citrus under these circumstances will be charged to the customer’s account.

When payment is required, in all instances, a copy of the invoice will be sent to the customer with receipt for payment.

Purple Citrus will not be held responsible for any damages, loss or delay by the courier.  If you do require additional insurance, please notify us in the order comments at the time your order is placed.

Purple Citrus requires 24 hours notice prior to a customer’s courier arriving for pick up. If the customer’s courier arrives without notice being given, we reserve the right to refuse the courier at the customer’s expense.

Out of Stock Items

Orders are held until your order is packed in full.

Please note that while we do our best to ensure that all items are in stock at the time of your order, we may incur delays in arrival of products based on the supplier’s schedule. We will ship your order in full once all out of stock products have arrived back in stock.

Incorrect Addresses, Non-deliverable, or Refused Shipments

Purple Citrus can not be held responsible for incorrect shipping information input into the system by the customer.  Please ensure that the delivery address on your order is in full and correct.  Any additional shipping charges due to incorrect address information provided by the customer will be the responsibility of the customer.

Packages returned to Purple Citrus Inc. marked ‘Returned’, ‘Unclaimed’, or ‘Invalid Address’ will be refunded to the customer, minus a 20% handling fee.

Missing Parcels

Our courier automatically offers both online tracking and GPS confirmation of delivery. During checkout, you may choose to add a signature confirmation at delivery to ensure that your parcel is received by the person intended.

Our responsibility for loss or damage to your order ends once your order is confirmed to have reached your chosen delivery address safely. We will not provide a replacement or refund for any items or packages that are confirmed to have been delivered to the correct shipping address. Any items lost after delivery to your chosen address will be your responsibility to replace.
